The mental health impact of the pandemic has been tremendous; our students struggle with increasing anxiety, depression, and social isolation that interfere with their ability to be successful students and well people. Our on-campus mental health professionals in the Counseling Center are available, in person- with little to no wait to address these challenges and to support student wellness. Mental health services are provided at no cost to students.
The staff at the Center is committed to delivering equitable mental health support-meeting each student where they are and assisting them to (re) gain emotional health. We provide high-quality, impactful services in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental atmosphere.
The Center focuses on promoting and fostering the emotional and psychological growth and well-being of all students at Whittier College through consultations, mental health screenings, short-term individual and couples therapy, community referrals, and educational outreach.
