Jacobs Court & Telescopic Bleachers Renovation
A Stronger Home Court for Current and Future Poets
GIVE TO THE JACOBS COURT & TELESCOPIC BLEACHERS RENOVATION
Help Whittier College Bring Back Better by supporting the renovation of Dave Jacobs Court and its telescopic bleachers. As the heart of the Graham Athletics Center, the court serves generations of Poet student-athletes and the broader campus community. This project will provide a modern, high-performance playing surface and safer, more reliable seating, enhancing the experience for athletes, fans, families, and visitors alike:
• Full replacement of the court floor, providing a modern, high-performance playing surface that supports the safety, training, and competitive excellence of Poet student athletes.
• Replacement of the telescopic bleachers, creating safer, more reliable seating that improves comfort, visibility, and the overall experience for spectators, families, and guests.
With a total project goal of $850,000 and over $530,000 already secured through alumni support, we are working to raise the remaining funds by December 2026, with construction planned for summer 2027. Your generosity will help strengthen Poet Athletics, support the recruitment and retention of talented students, and ensure future generations of Poets have a facility in which to train, compete, and make lasting memories.
