Men's Basketball funding goal for the 2026-27 academic year: $36,000
Hello Poet Basketball Family,
We’re off and running, and excited about this year’s team. We return a talented, very strong core of seniors, including SCIAC Defensive Player of the Year Tochi Onyeador and leading scorer Jonathan Duley, alongside an outstanding incoming recruiting class eager to contribute. We hope you'll come see us play and cheer us on!
We are so thankful for all of our supporters who help provide our young men with the best college basketball experience possible. Your generosity helps us to maintain our locker room, provides gear for our players, and allows us to travel and proudly represent Whittier College.
This December, our team has a unique opportunity to travel to New York City for the Christmas holiday to compete on December 19 and 20. Beyond the games, this trip will give our student-athletes the chance to experience one of the world's most iconic cities during the holiday season, creating memories and life experiences that extend far beyond basketball.
This Giving Tuesday, you can help make that experience possible. Your support will directly enhance this special trip and help provide our student-athletes with opportunities they will carry with them long after their playing days are over.
Thank you for believing in our team and for investing in the growth and success of our student-athletes.
Go Poets!
