Football funding goal for the 2026-27 academic year: $100,000
In Fall 2025, we welcomed our first recruiting class of 39 student-athletes. This fall, 103 players reported to campus, bringing football back to Memorial Stadium and earning Whittier’s first football victory since 2019.
But the impact reaches far beyond the scoreboard. Alumni have returned to the stands, families have connected with the College, and students have brought new energy to game days. For our players, the opportunity to wear Whittier across their chest means earning an education, building lifelong relationships, and learning to lead through both success and adversity.
Our first season back has brought meaningful milestones and hard lessons. Our mission remains clear: develop young men who take pride in their preparation, take responsibility for their actions, and contribute to their team and campus community. We are building a program that expects daily improvement—in the classroom, on the field, and in life.
Your Giving Tuesday gift helps meet the everyday needs that make that growth possible. Our priorities include expanding post-workout nutrition to support recovery and providing essential training gear, including running shoes and workout apparel. These resources make an immediate difference in how our student-athletes prepare, recover, and perform.
Our players chose to help rebuild something special. Your support gives them the resources to keep moving it forward and helps establish a foundation for generations of Poets to come.
