Black Alumni Association Support Fund

This #BigPoetGive the Whittier College Black Alumni Association (WCBAA) has a $3,000 matching gift from a generous alumnus Stephanie Wiggins ‘92. Your $200 membership gift would go towards reaching this goal. Big Poet Give is an excellent opportunity to double your support and renew your WCBAA membership, or become a first-time member.

Our funds help current black students with various needs while at Whittier College. Recently 4 students received merit-based scholarships. We'd like to acknowledge juniors: Sam Aseh, Destiny Randle, Tyrus Douglas, and Jordan Kanoe for their academic success!

The work of the WCBAA has helped improve black student retention rates (students identifying as males 87% and females 93%) for the coming school year. Please join us in assisting our black students toward graduation and building fond memories of their Whittier College experience!
