At PSALA, we are dedicated to developing, challenging, and empowering student-athletes and coaches to become exceptional leaders in athletics, academics, and life. Our Leadership Academy fosters a positive learning environment that promotes personal growth, grounded in the core values of pride, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Our ultimate goal is to cultivate a robust network of disciplined and confident Poet leaders, ready to become Champions in Life.
We’ve engaged our community through events like our annual Fall and Spring Sports Crawls, Midnight Madness, Homecoming, and the celebration of DIII Week. Additionally, we’ve partnered with local nonprofit organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club and Special Olympics, to provide meaningful community service opportunities within the Whittier area.
To further our mission, the Poet Student-Athlete Leadership Academy seeks to enhance leadership and service opportunities for our student-athletes. We plan to host retreats and leadership forums designed to nurture their growth and development as future leaders. To achieve these goals, we are actively fundraising and seeking donations to provide our student-athletes with these invaluable experiences.
We sincerely appreciate your support. Together, we can empower our student-athletes to thrive and make a lasting impact in their communities.
