Football funding goal for the 2025-26 academic year: $100,000
Whittier College Football proudly welcomed its inaugural recruiting class of 39 student-athletes to campus in Fall 2025. This “first class” has quickly become an integral part of the Poet community—training hard in the weight room, excelling in the classroom, and serving through campus initiatives like student move-in day.
As our roster grows, we are seeking support to expand our post-workout nutrition program, which plays a vital role in athlete recovery and performance. Additional resources are also needed to provide essential training gear such as running shoes and workout apparel.
The return of football has reignited campus life—creating energy, connection, and pride. It enhances student engagement across clubs, organizations, and events, strengthening a culture that supports retention and school spirit throughout the Whittier community.
